"Living Without Laws: Slab City, USA" is a short documentary about Slab City, a desert settlement in Southeastern California that is populated by a combination of vacationers, eccentrics, and squatters. The settlement is on the site of a WWII era Marine training base---the leftover building foundations give Slab City its name. The documentary was created in 2010 by Ernie Quintero for VICE (see the accompanying article & photo gallery).
